Vanity Fair 2015 New Establishment Summit
October 5, 2015 − San Francisco, California
Movado was proud to serve as a Principal Sponsor of Vanity Fair’s 2015 New Establishment Summit, which took place on October 5-7, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California. Vanity Fair assembled the titans of technology, politics, business, and media for this year’s summit which encompassed inventive programming and inspiring conversations around the ideas and innovations shaping the future. Now in its second year, the V.F. Summit was inspired by the Vanity Fair New Establishment list, Vanity Fair magazine’s annual must-read ranking of those figures who are setting the global agenda and leading the Age of Innovation.
The Summit was an ideal forum for Movado to present the new Movado Edge collection, designed in collaboration with world-renowned industrial designer Yves Béhar, who also attended the Summit. The idea for the dynamic new collection was inspired by a meeting between Yves Béhar and Efraim Grinberg, CEO & Chairman, Movado Group, at the Aspen Ideas Conference in 2013. The collaboration unites the talents of two of the most important industrial designers of the last 70 years, Nathan George Horwitt and Yves Béhar, and the result is a stunning new interpretation of Horwitt’s legendary Museum Dial, created in 1947.

Movado closed-out the Summit with a celebratory cocktail reception attended by a host of game-changers that influence the intersecting worlds of tech, media, entertainment, politics, and beyond, shifting and shaping the global conversation.
